I just read it was a 13 year old driving the truck that crashed into the van, what a sad situation for all involved….

DPS reported this but also said the left front tire was a spare and may have failed jerking the truck to the left into the van.
Still, 13 years old is not legal. Very tragic on all fronts!

The truck’s left front tire, which was a spare tire, also blew out before impact, he said.
