The Great State of Texas has a unique problem that very few states have.... A lot of football players and a lot of media coverage to boot..... A number of great players go overlooked in favor of players from powerhouse programs..... Problem is there's a big difference between great talent and great programs... Great programs will have great high school football players but that doesn't always equate to being a great college prospect..... college coaches will show up to practice and some simply look at the size of a few players and said they have potential.... After watching some of those dudes play.... Some were like... Hmmmm.... That kid's huge but he can't ball... Either you know how to evaluate talent or you don't.... You can't put lipstick on a pig and crown it a beauty queen..... There's still a competition that has to take place.....
