I totally agree that Fatheree and Foster exceeded expectations. But, that's two out of 5. Ogunbiyi will be a senior when those guys are juniors and should be able to hold down a guard spot, but that means you need a guard and a tackle playing very strong football as redshirt sophomores or true sophomores.

Certainly possible, but I think it is much more likely that this line doesn't truly gel until Fatheree and Foster are seniors.

The way he runs his offense, he has to have a dominant offensive line to be elite. He is, at the very minimum, 2 years away from that and I'm not 100% sure that he has the horses on campus to do that. The 10 OL guys he has taken in the last two years are much closer to very good than dominant.

But, if he can talk 2 or 3 of the 17 5 star DL on the roster in to playing offensive line . . .
I don't disagree with anything you are saying. It just has to translate to the field to mean anything. He did well in the Covid season of 2020. Took a step back last year in losing to a highly disheveled LSU team and Miss State and going 4-4 in conference. I do think he has done an amazing job of recruiting but I am just not ready to drink the koolaid that he is in the company of Bama/UGA. They produce top 5 seasons EVERY year it seems. LSU caught lightning in a bottle with that 2019 roster which proved to be stacked with NFL Pro Bowlers but have been able to accomplish much of anything since.

Honest question for the Aggie fans: If ATM doesn't win a National Title in the next 3-4 years, which I guess would be years 7-8 for Jimbo, is it considered a failure? He is certainly getting the recruits and roster where it needs to be. Just curious yalls take on it.

This is ATM......see it in big letters on their helmets? Am I missing something. I know it is Texas A&M. Their emblem is literally ATM. Keep trolling

I wouldn’t consider it a failure but I’m not into it as some fans. Part of the job is recruiting. Let’s not forget, Saban and Georgia have been recruiting like this for years and their teams will be more talented.

Smart won it this year, his 6th . . Unless Jimbo implodes I can see him there until he wins one . .

Certainly better talent man for man.... But, the final outcome would question the quality of coaching. Johnson and Calzada are examples of incomplete recruiting research.... IMHO.... And I'm 5 beers in already...[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Not sure I would consider it a failure if he doesn't win one but it would be if he can't get us in the CFP title game in the next few years.

We’ve heard how good Jimbo’s classes are since he got there. No? So the latest was the only “good” class? Let me know.
