Chicago kid that has tons of talent, but is very immature. Demoted to 3rd string TE because of poor practice habits, and spent time in Saban’s doghouse. Then he called out the coaches on social media. Sark and coach Banks will have to lay down the lay and Billingsley will have to change his attitude. Basically a high risk / high reward as he will either ball out or flame out.

Added depth. He either gets his **** together and plays ball or he doesn’t.

It is my understanding that once a player enters the portal, the school does not have to accept the player (honor the scholarship) back. There is no doubt there is some risk, but for the better players they have already have a plan in place before they even put their name in there.

It has made the smaller schools lazy on recruiting. Get a kid out of the portal that graded out high by someone else, get him signed and he can't go anywhere.
