I think it's time for you to come to the light, BoB. It's "ok" to be a Baylor fan. (I admit, often painful but socially acceptable). In fact, if you were to convert, you might be the first T-shirt fan Baylor's ever had.

You may be correct, and as bad as the last decade has been I would gladly take that record! My only question is Baylor… I’ll give it to Aranda, he did an amazing Job, but i will be super curious to see if he can do it again. Not taking anything away from their season, but they had everything go their way. Every call, every bounce etc.. I know it takes some of that and a little luck to win a championship, but im curious if it’s repeatable.

I agree, and that's my school your talking about. Lots of open questions...QB, receivers, RBs, secondary. There's some paper talent stepping up but not proven on the field type talent. And that's before you look at their road schedule. This is the "tough" year - at Austin, Norman, Lubbock, Morgantown (where they've never won) and Provo.

I am glad to see the investment into Tech Football for Joey. We are going to hear him speak next Sunday in San Antonio. It will be the first time since he has taken the job my wife will have chance to catch up with him. It is awesome to see her passion for Tech Football come back and not just focus on the spring sports.

There was, and still is, plenty of love around Baylor fandom for Joey. From everything I read, he's a good man. Most of us were happy for him to get the opportunity to be a head coach at the P5 level. We figured it was only a matter of time and were thankful that he helped bridge the gap between Rhule and Aranda. I wish him every success (except against Baylor, of course), and I think most Baylor fans would as well.
