I like to remind those that get elevated in prep for hunting season or during season....please use a harness and please tie off.
Example...This past week, I was moving a treestand to a different location. I had completed the ladder stick transfer and was about to climb down and my hand slipped off of the ladder(sweaty hands). I had my harness on and it stopped me from being a statistic. Had I fallen, it would have been hours before I would have been missing as I was alone, which is common.
Please use common sense and wear your safety equipment, TBHers. Don't become a statistic, don't think it isn't for you or you are less of a man or to macho, or it is stupid or you don't need to use safety equipment. It is for your own well being.
