Don't know if this one's been mentioned but The Cafe in Graford has an awesome burger. We left the lease in Palo Pinto today and called in an order for pickup. I got the standard "cheeseburger w/everything" and the wife got the Mushroom and Swiss. Both were excellent.
Good to know I have a "go to" now when coming home from my lease.

If you are on the way to Hagerman, the Burger barn makes a no-frills old-school burger that's always fresh and good it is on State HWY 1417 just north of highway 691.
A little farther north, Franks on State Hwy 289 makes a great Burger.

Edge general store in Edge, Tx.
          Jax Hamburgers in liberty, Tx.

Those are my two favorite burger places and it’s not even close.

The Stanley Williams burger at Brisket Love in Lindale. Double meat and cheese, brisket, bacon and a fried egg on top. It's a beast.

Burger Bar in Cleburne use to be the best around. Haven’t gone in many years since they switched owners but still hear about it regularly.
