Rocking K in Lometa and Margie’s in downtown Bryan

I never liked homemade burger growing up. Now I prefer mine over almost all others. I`ve been grinding my own hamburger meat for over 30 years. Usually, a mix of mostly brisket and chuck sometimes. I also prefer a griddle over a grill.

Agree 100%. Be sure to get the onion rings to go with it. They are real onion rings and not the fake ones with some kind of crumb coating. Wash it all down with a root beer and its pure delight to the taste buds.

Longhorn's burgers are legit. Blanco BBQ also has a good burger. nothing fancy, just a really good smoky flavor. Think it is called the Oak Grilled Burger or something like that.

I second Kellers. You can buy a $50 gift card and they write it on a paper and deduct as you go. Old school

Galaxy B&B Killeen. All kinds of interesting combinations based on Star Wars, but overall basic burger is just plain good. Belton area, Crows (if they are still open) and believe it or not hands down best is burger in the area is at the fishing pier at Stillhouse Hollow Lake Marina.

Fusion Grill in Katy, TX. They really do a great job.

In San Antonio its hard to beat Frontier Burger. Cooked over charcoal fire, very flavorful.

That is for sure. It is one of their more crazy burgers, but they have others that are more manageable. I really like their Spicy Poblano burger and Max Bacon burgers that you can pick up and eat.

Maybe some Ft Hood guy can help me out. There was a drive thru joint right off of post that sold awesome burgers, fries, and they had every kind of syrup known to man for you coke. Of course back then you could eat 3K calories and burn it off before COB.

Burger Barn In Pottsboro HWY 1417on the way to Hagerman. Very simple and traditional. Not a big soggy blob. It's a friendly family-owned place. Also not overpriced.

Hard disagree on this one, pretty much the exact same as a burger king.

San Antonio go to Longhorn or Chris Madris for a way better burger

They make a pretty good burger at the Flying Cow (Wagyu Beef) in Booth, TX - but their fries are even better than the burger.
