    help tuning compound

hello guys, a buddy of mine just got a new compound and this is his first bow. i have pretty much always shot trad so i don't really know how to help him out. i was wondering if there are any sites or if anyone has advice on arrows and gear to get him started. and wether he should be using a peep or not. i know it is probably easier to use a peep sight but i think their is great benifits if you where to go ahead and use good form and lose the peep, am i wrong.
i told him to either get a wisker bisket to help hold the arrow or go ahead and spend the money on an accurate drop away. what do you'll think ?
this compound is as new to me as it is to him. but hopefully i will turn him to the dark side soon so i will be able to help him out. until then i hope you'll can help my buddy out
    thanks for any help/suggestions

Find a local Pro Shop and get him set up right the 1st time-you might spend alittle more-but its worth it!
yes, on the peep!yes,on carbon arrow's and drop aways!

      Wiz,
Are you saying 'yes' on not having a peep? I have been thinking about taking that plunge myself.

Corey,i actually say "Yes" to a Peep sight,i use 1 on all my bows....
At night ,i can see my pins no problem thru my peep, for a beginner, the accuarcy comes faster, then later remove the peep if liked.....
