    Old mobile home removal... ???

Just finished our house here in Whitesboro.
Built it on same property where I've been living in a 1998 Dblwd (bought it new).

Who buys old trailer houses? I know it costs $$$ to move them but I'm hoping to get a little $$$ for it and definitely hope I dont have to pay just to have it hauled off.

It needs work but could be remodeled I'm thinking ???

Anyone know of places that buy em regularly?

That custom under pinning been on there 15 yrs. Still stands up to a weed eater, lol. Planning on residing my wooden bow box blind with it!

    Thanks, D.

This one needs all new flooring, a few doors, trim, etc....

I dont know what I'm gonna do w that covered porch. Its 3-4' tall and 10x50' concrete!
1/2 the trailer is sitting on a 15x80' slab (was a single wide there when I purchased the property in 1992).

Figger I might turn the slab into some sort of shed ???

You would be surprised how much these will sell for. I wouldn’t give it away just yet.

AB Mobile Homes in Mt Selman might be interested. That's what he does, buys old ones and repairs them, then sells them. He would probably be in the Bullard phone book. He's a good honest guy, he was my neighbor for several years.

          Free fence!

Gonna check out some places that came up w a Google search.

Gotta take out over 100' of chain link w 3-4 gates and well over 100' of field fence, barbed wire, and t-posts.

Probably gonna post it up in classifieds for anyone that wants the fence. Take it down and it's yours.

I actually considered trading it in on another mobile home instead of building the Barndo (glad I didnt).

The place where I bought this trailer 20 yrs ago took the old SW in on trade ($4k).

When I discussed this with Henches they informed me they dont take trades anyhow.

I have known of trailer parks owners buying them to move out to their properties, fix them up a little, and start renting.

When I bought my place in Harper there was a old mobile home on it in bad shape. I thought I was going to have to pay to have it removed. My cousin put in on Craigslist San Antonio and in 4 hours I had 6 bites and one guy on his way with cash in hand. Paid me $1500 and even fixed my fence he opened up to get it out. Buyer owns a trailer park and renovates and rents them. Moving it was all on him.
So...what I'm saying is. Put it up for sale and see what you get.
                  You might be surprised.
