Can't go wrong with a Stinger DS by Streamlight.

Super bright and probably one of the best blood tracking lights I’ve owned. We Couldn’t find any blood on a deer I shot one evening until my buddy walked up with this light... IMO best quality for he money
          Which model?

If u dont have to go flashlight and go head light. Surefire maximus all the way. True 1k watt light. It will light up the night. They make a flashlight too, get a dual mode of u get the flashlight. Either the 1k headlamp or the 1k flashlight will def impress you and everyone else. Are they pricey, yes, but mess it up and surefire replaces it. Been there done that. The flashlight runs off cr123 batteries, I buy em in bulk off Ebay for like 12 bucks.

If your looking for a truck light, spot light. The flash light version of the 1k is where it's at from surefire. People may flame me for the expense of surefire, but I'd rather pay for quality than keep buying and not be completely satisfied.

                Streamlight Stinger HPL

Has a tight spot similar to a spot light.

That is one of several lights I regularly use on patrol. I carry a couple of extra battery sticks and can get about 5 hours of light out of it uf needed.

When I want a lot of light but not a lot of distance I use a Thrunite TC 20 with 3800 lumens. It will completely light up an entire front yard when I want to see everything in an area. It works pretty good out to about 100 yards or maybe a bit farther. If looking for a light to see something clearly 400 yards away this light isnt it but I am not typically looking for something a quarter of a mile down the road.

Stinger ds is a good one. I’ve owned many as a LEO. Used day in and out for two or three years before a switch went out. Never fixed it. Went through half dozen others. Came back to this.

I would buy a stream light I use mine in the shop every day and it gets beat up , dropped and best ever I have used. Tried others but not as bright ( the advertised lumens are what ever that company says they are )

                          We issue Stingers.

We have a case or two of switches on standby and are always replacing them.

I just got a Klarus. I really like the dual tail switch design. The XT series would be what I would get.
