sigh...about a 1.5 hour wait to get back aross the rio today. Benito Juarez holiday weekend and they are going north as most mexicans are off Monday.

Interesting afternoon. One of our Dallas driver's ran over a mail box . . . in Nacogdoches. Owner's son was on scene and his Mom called us from Oregon with an "I want my mailbox replaced .... TODAY!"
Yes ma'am, no problem. I head out from Conroe, make a stop by Lowe's in Livingston, and arrive on scene at 3:10 pm. Son is still there and gives me a hand installing new pole and mailbox. Other son drives up, who knew he was a Deputy? I finish my work and give first son a cap as he is a collector and head for home at 4:00 pm.
Home now and it's all good. Probably still have a phone call with a little cussing coming as the driver craked the mortar on a rock wall they had along the road. It was there to protect a 100 year old oak. Glad the driver didn't take the tree out.

New battery last Saturday for me and got I started on some shredding, until the power steering fluid leak won.

Quality time with the grandsons today at Lake Travis. First time I ever caught a fish......................on a Spiderman pole.
