OK Casey...something has been bugging me about the new pup.

I could not grasp what exactly narco kept reminding me of but after i crawlled back into bed from taking him outside for the 3:00 a.m. pee & poops, i pulled it out of corners of my mind, smiled & went to sleep.

Not sure about Pearl, but this is Narco when he gets wound up in turbo mode.

My black lab is coming around but most of the time, i'm pretty sure she feels like Claude here.

Home again! Lake Sam Rayburn had an awesome sunrise this morning and the lake was like glass on the south side where I was enjoying my cup of coffee. God sure can paint a beauty of a sunrise and that fireball busting out of the treetops looked like a cork that just lost it's perch. Topped it off with some arrer shooting out to 40 yards. Them deer ain't got a chance I tell you.

Just got home with my new Bear Strike!!!!!!!! Got one week to get it tuned in wish me luck... Life is good, fall is here.........

Boys played to a 12-12 today agains't the other first place team. Cory had two touchdown saving tackles at Free Safety (one was a bomb shot). Blake had two quarterback pressures and two fumble recoveries.

I am on the cusp of booking hunts for Alberta as my time is scarce and I am not getting out enough, nor found solid and reliable hunting buddy as of yet. Looking good, maybe by tomorrow the deal will be consumated and the hunting will commence. Regardless, I am off tomorrow with the bow. Truck is packed to roll!

My high-dollar coffee maker will not wake up this morning. I guess the power outage from storms yesterday whacked it. Pulled out the percolater. There is no way this thing won't make coffee!!

Morning everyone. It seems the moose are rutting in Northern Alberta. Several bull moose sightings on the jobsite over the last week.

Word is that Gary has a competent guide flying down next weekend to take him hunting, and this one ain't skeered of no bears!
