Great time at the Lease this weekend w/ The Scribners, Jaspro, Dr D, and a few others! we got camper set, bowblind finished, feeders all filled and then enjoyed the rest of the weekend!

Ahhhh...I like waking up to the sound of rain! It helps my water bill, makes the garden and flowers happy, and hopefully, just hopefully, it's raining at the lease. We can use the rain but not too much as I don't want to have all the weeds grow back that I had to mow!

I'm going down to Keith Johns with several other TBH'ers this weekend. The forecast calls for rain everyday for the next week except for the 3 days we're going to be there. I'm sure there will be a live hunt thread provided we have phone service!

Y'all be careful out there with the rain and possibility of flooding!

Just throwin another log on.

The days are getting shorter and cooler. My trigger finger is itching.
I always look foreward to this time of year. Can't wait to bust some doves and teal. The big trout will be hitting topwaters and corkys again. The hogs and deer will make themselves available to fling sharp sticks and hot lead at.
Going to set out some gator lines tomorrow.

Well went to the doc today and got to see the baby's heart beat. Still don't know what we're having but got a strong feeling it's a boy.
