I made it back from Idaho again in good shape. Thanks again for all the thoughts, prayers,texts, and calls.

My Dad not only lost a son, but his main hunting and fishing partner also. One of my sisters and I got him out on the Snake/Clearwater confluence for some early run steelhead. There are only 15,000-20,000 fish over Lower Granite Dam so far, so the chances were probably not going to be to good.

Final score: Dad 2, Lori 0, Hogboy 0, Quality time 1.

Headed back to Texas for the weekend to see family and such. Should be fun and long over due as this will be my first trip back since moving to New Mexico a couple months ago. Can't wait to step back into the lonestar state.

Guy decided against leasing it this year. Said he has too many irons in the fire to mess with it. That's OK one of my Brothers-in-Law owns 300 acres even closer and says I can hunt anytime for free.
