It has been a great day! Great biker service at our church today and the parking lot was full of Harley's. Had a bunch of friends over for lunch and a little help with the house. Chicken spaghetti, hamburger and macaroni, fried chicken, fried okra, salad, rolls and dessert with tea to drink, man was it good. Back to the work, installed the attic stairs, back porch lights, carport light, and cleaned up the floors that will get tile tomorrow. Fixing to catch some tv before turning in. Night all!

A few hours left of my night shift and then it's a couple days off.

I'm meeting with a mortgage lender on Tuesday, to discuss closing on my first home purchase. I'll be a renter, no more!!

My venture to the IOMG Casino black jack tables last night can best be described with this old saying: "Sometimes you eat the bear; sometimes the bear eats you". The bear just let out a big burp!
Tomorrow morning, opening day out here, is fast approaching! Hopefully I'll be able to make use of my new iPhone about this time tomorrow!

Man!! Hate having to come back to work on Mon., just getting to the green screen, had a great weekend at camp. Cooked a hog we shot last weekend and installed a septic tank and then shot another piggy before heading home!!!!! And got all the feeders filled any going again, ready for Oct.!!!!!!! Gonna be a good year I can just tell. Hope everyone has a good week. Not going dove hunting , but good luck to everyone that is.

Finally recovered enough from my knee surgery to check a few threads and post an update. Surgery was scheduled for 12:30 and I was finally wheeled in there at 5 pm. Doc came in at 4:30 and asked if there was anything I would like before we got started and I told him a big cheeseburger and fries would be nice since he told me not to eat anything after midnight Sunday night.
The surgery went well according to my wife, I was too drugged up to remember anyhting that was said in recovery. Not sure what all they gave me but the nurse did say something about morphine and a few others. Being a non-drinker I was pretty lit when I left the hospital. First stop was the Mickey D's about a mile from the hospital for an Angus burger and a McDouble with a side of fries with a coke. Had a strawberry shake here at the house and I am feeling a little better now.
I slept all evening and now I can't go to sleep. Guess I'll just hang out on the green screen and do a little net surfing.
