For any around the Mesquite area, I recently discovered the city actually maintains a 100 yard, 7 lane archery range. It's $2 for an entire day and usually empty during the day. I've been running up there between meetings. The manager said it opened about 4 years ago, lived here all my life and had no idea. They also offer lessons with the manger (Ralph is the manager, olympic style shooter and bow hunter. Really nice guy, going to take my nephew up there when we get time), rental bows (10 lb draw) for the younger ones to learn with.
Just a heads up, their targets (bag) won't stop arrows from our hunting bows, just take your target. i am going to run up there today with a 3d target to get some more practice before a trip this weekend.
