The flight patterns over my office in San Marcos have been empty
I've got bigger flocks flying over my house now than before Harvey. They are flying early though.

Be right around the corner from you. The birds are flying early in the afternoon instead of later in the evening.

I like your report a lot better than the one from my neighbor though!

I saw probably 30 mourning doves and two huge flocks of whitewings here in northeastern Washington county. I was set up in a bad spot and everything was crossing my field about 75 yds away from me. Instead of re-positioning me and my three youngsters I decided to stick it out where I was. I killed one bird in the 2.5 hours my 2 year olds attention span allowed me to hunt. I have more people showing up for the evening hunt so hopefully that will help scatter the birds some more. Another thing I noticed was all the doves I saw were big mature birds. Didn't see any of the young mojo kamikazies I'm used to seeing on opening day. Good luck to all making the evening hunt.
