Can you hunt a DB T2?

Does anybody remember the Double Bull T2 blind? I have never hunted out of one, but I have always been told they are real small. I have a buddy that has one and I may borrow to go on a day lease hunt. I want the T2 cause it is smaller and easier to make disappear in the brush than the ground blinds of today.

I had one that I got at a RMEF banquet. I set it up and it didn't seem small to me. The only thing I didn't like was that all the windows were solid shoot through mesh and there were none that could "open". I know they say the mesh doesn't affect the arrow, but I just can't bring myself to shoot through it.

They work pretty good for one person and are easier to brush in. You have to stake it out to make it work properly but plenty of room to bowhunt in.

Ditto. I have had one for 5 years...works fine for one person.

I've actually hunted two guy out of a T2. A little tight but it didn't stop me from hammering my first turkery with a bow a couple of years back.

i hunt out of two 2/t's and a matrix. i love the t/2's, but they are a pretty tight fit. i have a short draw (27") on a dxt and i have to turn the bow sideways to draw without bumping the back of the blind with my elbow and making noise.
but i will say this, i'll take a t/2 over any other cheaper but larger blind any day of the week.

just make sure you stake out the front and back..If you get it really tight you should be fine.

I figured you could. I am just looking for something that is smaller to brush in and I think the shape of the blind helps them disappear better. I still have my 6ft Slaypod and my personal favorite loppers and a chair, but wanted to add a blind to my hunt.

I have used on every year for 5 + years. It is a one persone blind, but brushing in is easier. There is plenty of room once you learn how to setup, draw, and arrange you stuff on the inside.

this is very important to gain about a foot or so of space. i use tent stakes with eyelets.

I might do that. Picking it up on the way would make more sense than me getting it from my buddy. Let me make my final plans though before we try to set something up.
