Drought map as of 5/26. Yellow is "Abnormally Dry" darker patches are "Moderate Drought"
I'll bet this is as good as it gets, statewide. I imagine some part of the state is always experiencing some degree of drought as they define it.

after the summer though i believe the map will have much less yellow and much less dark orange spots, the rains are supposed to be heavy till end of july across texas
