Went to make a run last night at a few local stores and one of them had a good selection of some allocated bottles (EHT, 1792 12 yr, 1792 BIB, Eagle Rare, Elijah Craig) but you had to spend $50 on non allocated bourbon first and then you could buy one of the allocated bottles. Anyone ever hear of this?

Yeah…there are several stores I’ve found that are like that.

Almost all the non corporate chain liquor stores do that up here in dfw
Picked up a couple of bottles today
I’m not an angels envy fan at all but thought I’d try the store pick single batch , not bad at all.
I think I like the Ezra better though. Both pretty solid pours
