Spent the afternoon at the Yellow Rose distillery. Bought a bottle of their 7 yr 1st edition. The $10 tour included about 5 shots worth of tasters. I also drank most of my wife’s tasters. Hell of a deal.

I think Chase This! has more money in whiskey in his cabinet than I have in the bank . That is an awesome collection.

Iam not a huge whiskey fan, but pretty much all I drink is crown. But I hang out with a guy that was a jack Daniels hound. He seriously drank it like water. If we pored it in a normal glass it was gone in like two swallows. So he had to have a water glass, just to keep from refilling it constantly. And he drank it like this for years. Watched him down one of the smaller bottles ( not sure what size they are called) with out taking it from his lips, just as you might with a water bottle if your thirsty. He has quit drinking altogether now, 5 DUI's and a year in jail broke him of that habit. I have never seen any one who liked there whiskey like he did.

That sounds like he liked alcohol not necessarily whiskey. Glad he got himself cleaned up
