I attached a few pics of some of the plants I have growing. These are a few weeks old and sprouted from seeds. I have brown "veins" in some of the leaves of my plants. Hopefully you can see it in the pics.

What is it? What can I do to remedy it?

I am so upset! We had a critter get into the garden and eat all the blooms from our squash! There were at least 24 blooms

Late this summer/early Autumn, I will be installing a small greenhouse.

I use the molasses lick tubs from the cattle man where I do feral Hog control. I fill them 2/3rds full of soil and put two tomato plants in each tub with a cage that slips down over the tub. I would recommend determinate tomato plants as the indeterminate grow taller and taller and taller and outgrow the cage. Here's a link to some info--

Determinate varieties of tomatoes, also called "bush" tomatoes, are varieties that are bred to grow to a compact height (approx. 4 feet). They stop growing when fruit sets on the terminal or top bud, ripen all their crop at or near the same time (usually over a 2 week period), and then di...

My garden is finally taking off. Daughter ate the first cherry tomato a few days ago. Strawberries are the only thing not doing so well. I'll have to post some pics in a bit.

I prefer indeterminate as you get a continuous harvest nearly all season long. I use a conduit frame with nylon string for a trellis for them to climb. Last year they got out of hand so I'm limiting them to one main stem this year. Been eating tomatoes for about 2 weeks now.

Next year I am going to use two 4' tall cattle panels spaced about 10 inches apart for tomatoes instead of my 18 cages I have. My cages are 3'tall and the tomatoes grow 1'+over them.

Use concrete cloth with the 6" squares and roll it into a tube shape.. Cut the bottom ring off but leave the verticals and you can just shove them into the ground and they stay great and are 5' tall.

Another inch of rain today. Garden loving it. Added mulch at base of plants to prepare for the 100degree days ahead! Hopefully everyone's garden is doing good for them.

I wish my bell peppers were producing! I think ants are eating them.....can I use ditematicous(sp?) Earth in the garden or is there a better alternative?

Way late in the game, but built this yesterday. Put some potted transplants in yesterday and some seeds.

Wish I would have looked into the sq ft garden more before doing mine. I'm gonna be over run with tomatoes here pretty soon though. I will have a few cucumbers but I love cucumbers. Daughter is the only one that likes the tomatoes, so I think I might prune it back a bit so that the plants don't grow anymore.
