...but...but...you have a Certificate of Authenticity!!!

I have always chuckled when I see those "Certificates".

Hopefully, your signature is authentic, but does it make it valuable?

I've collected sports memorabilia for many years, and have found that the only way to make sure the autograph you're getting is real, is to get it yourself. There are a lot of companies out there that show up at fundraisers, but most of the stuff that they bring, is poor quality, and the autographs are very questionable.

How much did you pay for it?
The money may go to a good cause but you got took on the sig. Or Jason was drunk...

Seriously, I think you have a valid claim against Dallas Cowboys Fans Unlimited. There may be a class action suit opportunity if you can find others who have been scammed by Dallas Cowboys Fans Unlimited. Even if you lose the lawsuit, the reputation of Dallas Cowboys Fans Unlimited will be tarnished, and you may have saved some other poor, unsuspecting Jason Witten fan from being scammed.

I only paid $100, and, funds are going for HS senior student scholarships.

$100 is only $100, and it's going to a good cause, but, I would at least like to know I'm getting what I paid for.

There is really only one way to rectify this situation. Someone needs an upper decker and they need it now.

I'd say something for sure! Donation is a donation but to trick somebody into giving money, that is just wrong.

Ehh, sometimes I can't read my signature, so that part may be irrelevant.
