Lesson learned - ask processor what cost will be prior to dropping off deer

Believe me - a big big part of me wanted to leave those deer there and give them directions on what they could do next with it on very specific terms but I was stuck. As I said before, never again will I darken that establishment again. Not even if certain body parts were on fire.

For sure the only way you know your getting your venison back you killed not someone else's that was not cleaned or handled as good as yours

And that's why I take mine to a processor. I hope I'll be getting someone else's...........

One of my buddies had a whole deer made into tamales $$$ !

I know a lady that does it out of her house for the family...gives me tamales occasionally etc. asked her how much to do a deer for me. she said if i bone it out $50

$50 for a whole deer of tamales...she must really like me im giving her a deer this week.

I will occasionally have sausage made but its just too dang high. we always do our own steaks and burger/breakfast sausage...its too easy not to.

If you paid that beacuase your time is worth ore more power to you. if you paid that because you dont know how get with someone who will teach you...should take you less than half an hr plus deboning once home
