Whats up with this hog? Was on one of our trail cams. I cant tell whats wrong with it. Mange, starvation?? I've never seen those ridges on a hogs back. If its a disease we need to try and keep it from spreading. Needless to say its on the top of our hit list.

I had one show up last month at a feeder near one of the property lines like that. One of my guys shot it and it was starving to death is why it looked like that. Someone had shot its lower jaw off and it was pretty bad.

The one we had was all hunched up in all the pics we had. We couldnt tell what was wrong until it was shot. It was nasty.

We had a hog that looked like that several years ago. When we killed him we found blow fly larve in his mouth and brain. It took 4 shot for a 41 mag in the head to finally kill him.
