Misplacing Stuff

If I'm looking for something and go on the search, and about the second room forget what I'm looking for. Have I misplaced myself?

I'll be working on something and then set a tool down to walk away for a minute. When I return I can't for the life of me remember where I left that dang thing! It drives me nutts. To make matters worse I also have a wife that is notorious for hiding stuff. I think I spend half my week trying to track down missing things.

I started buying two or three of everything so I would be able to find at least one.

It didn't help, but it did give me more to complain about.......

You're telling me! I have been looking, like mad, for the breech plug to my muzzleloader for a week now. I tore apart my office and garage. I leave in a week for my hunt and nobody in town has it in stock. Most places online are predicting shipping at 7 days

Also can't find any of my Kuiu stuff.

I can't remember what I'm supposed to be doing long enough to know that I have misplaced the stuff to do it with so I never miss anything unless I go back to where I started and remember. I could make a career out of it.
