Was sitting here reading some of the posts and took a little look at how life has gotten too gaurded for all of us!
Remember back when we (im 41) were kids and you would tell Mom that you were going to go Play? Heck you were out the door at 8am and didnt come home till after dark,,,,no one freaked out and we all made it home ok,,,dint we
Or ya took your knew Mongoose bike and got it up to light speed before you hit the plywood ramp and jumped the creek
ok that one didnt go so well,,,,,,,but we all did it
Makes me a bit sad that my kids cant do that, nor would i let them nowadays.....crazy how things have changed
My son evan commented the other day that kids/teens join the Milatary to get college money...HELL,,,,i joined because i idolized my Grandfathers service to the country and wanted to be just like him
Here is to hope'n things get better in this country and we can het back to just plain ol' livin
