    Travel with CHL

Okay folks, I'm headed to New Jersey in February and will be flying. Now I'm gonna very transparent right up front. I HATE the idea of dealing with the TSA. I'm so not looking forward to being around a bunch of gun hating libs but a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do. So here are my questions:
    1) Is concealed carry legal in New Jersey?
    2) What is the necessary process for flying with a pistol if it is legal to carry in NJ?
    3) Where can I find out the local laws regarding firearms and CC?
I'm a computer idiot so any links that'd make it easier would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time.

Doesn't look like NJ recognizes Texas

If you click NJ this is what shows:

Effective immediately, Governor Perry has issued a proclamation that allows persons with concealed handgun licenses from New Jersey to legally carry in Texas. New Jersey license holders will be required to follow Texas law while carrying in this state. This proclamation is unilateral and is not a reciprocal agreement. Texas concealed handgun license holders will not be allowed to carry in New Jersey.

          This should do it.

New Jersey Concealed Carry Permit Information, New Jersey Concealed Weapons Permit, New Jersey Concealed Carry Reciprocity

Other then going to a place that doesnt recognize TX CHL, getting through the airport is pretty easy if you are traveling to some place you can carry, or even checking a hunting rifle for that matter. Just show it to them when you check your bags, lock it in the case, then put it in your checked roller luggage bag, or check the rifle case. Just remember to pick it up off the carousel.

Does NJ accept the Utah non-resident license? I've got that one too.

                Good reference...

It doesnt appear that NJ accepts a Utah CCW as well.

I think that NJ almost doesn't even accept their cops carrying.

Don't they even make it illegal for most hollow points except for officers?

I read a while back that hollow point bullets were outlawed in NJ.
While you are checking facts about carrying there, you better look into the ammo restrictions as well.
