    Beware: Rejected Lonewolf stands

Lonewolf stands that were deemed to be bad are being sold by XOP, Inc. They are not safe and Lonewolf will not warranty them. As per the TMA they are "rejects" that somehow made it to this company and are now being sold.
I recieved this in an email from Lonewolf...

Can you attach the email? How would one identify this rejected stand? Thanks for the heads up.

I bought mine directly from Lone Wolf three years ago. I think I'm good.
How do rejected stands get to the market anyway? Lone wolf should destroy the ones deemed unsafe.

The plot thickens!! I took it on my own to directly ask this company about selling the stands, and this is the email exchange. Notice the waiver part for a missing FAS!!

                      Dear Glenn,

We are certainly interested in potentially working with you. Where did you
get our information and how did you hear about us?

The product we have is the remaining inventory from 2010 production for Lone
Wolf. It is the same product that they sold all year and was then
repossessed and diverted from Lone Wolf at the end of the year. It is not
seconds or rejected. All hang on stands are available as well as climbing
sticks. The hang on stands do not come with a FAS; therefore, we request a
disclaimer signature before making a sale.

Please let us know where you reside and we will respond.

                      Hopefully, we can work together.

                      Sincerely,
                      Jennifer Goninen

Is it true you are selling Lone Wolf products that were manufactured
overseas and have been rejected from LoneWolf and will not be warrantied?

                      Replaced fully,
                      Glenn

I wonder if they would be liable if the stands fail???

Doubtful. Especially since they make you sign a waiver before the sale.

                              PM sent mike.
