This little guy came in yesterday and worked the scrape, he is laying in btw, and then just lay down and proceeded to nap right in front of me! He was there about an hour and got up and left.

I had a small buck come in Saturday afternoon. He fed for about 1/2 hour then laid down 15 yards from my stand and chewed his cud for another 30 minutes. Then he got up and fed some more. My back and legs were cramping from not being able to move for over an hour.

I have never seen or heard of a buck laying down in a scrape?? He had just worked it. Pawed it up, hit licking branch, pee and poop!!! Then just lay right down in it!!! He was there about an hour total. Was glad I was a good 20 feet up and could shift around a little!

The new AR buck, he knows you can't shoot so he's gonna lay back and relax at your expense.

Isn't it really cool to be able to just sit there and enjoy nature and the deer don't even know you're there?
