I've been out of the rifle mode for a long time and haven't kept up with whats new out there. We have several old "*itch" does on our place that will ruin a bow hunt if they come by your stand. I don't want to shoot a rifle on our "all bow" ranch , but if I could find a small caliber rifle with a legal noise suppression system on it, I'd be tempted to take one to the blind. They will come in to 75-80 yards before they start stomping and blowing. Any ideas that won't break the bank.

Do you want to spend $1000 plus the gun to put it on? Also you will have to wait approximately nine months for approval. If you need to do a trust add another $400 or so.Comment

About the only option is to find a friend with a suppressed gun and invite them out to shoot a doe and have them sit with you while you use their gun to shoot the rest. You can not be left alone with another persons Class III weapon unless you are on their NFA Trust.Comment
