I ran out to the lease this afternoon to check on a few things. Ran into an older member and we chit chatted a bit. He saw the empty bottle of Trails End 307 (the one I left in my stand last year and yep, the cap came off and it stunk in there) sitting on my console and asked if I ever used a "spritzer" bottle while I was hunting. I never have, he maintained it was the best way to cover scent and "get the smell" out there. I was thinking about it on the drive home, makes sense enough to me. He said he used to use apple juice in a spray bottle.
What say the GS, anyone ever put scent of any kind in a spray bottle and give a couple of spritzes while you were hunting or walking in? The only negative I could see would be maybe the spray bottle atomizes the scent too much and it disperses too quickly?
