Here we go folks! I know there are more than a few around here who have absolutely no interest in the Olympics,(some even profess to hate it) but I'm here to confess I'm a huge fan
I will be watching as much track and field as I can, most of the swimming, and just about everything else they televise. What are your favorite events? Check out the metal projections from SI:
They project Brady Ellison to take silver in archery. Looking over this list I'm always amazed at some of the more obscure sports. Sailing?
Of course there are some of the obscure events I find interesting, ie: the open water marathon swim - as a swimmer I am always amazed these guys cover 10,000 meters (6.2 miles) in around 1:50. So, your favorite "mainstream" and "obscure" olympic events? I assume most around here will watch archery.
