LOUD is right!

Our 2003 Buick is never going to be the same.
Front windshield smashed, hood, roof, & trunk with loads of "dings".
Kimberly and the kids said it was a terrifying drive, with other vehicles having parts smashed and windows breaking out as they drove.
They were driving thru Downtown Dallas and east on 30 to come and pick me up from our mechanic's garage (South of Ferguson & LawnView).

Our mechanic had (4) personal vehicles with damage outside their home.
Front and Back windows broken in ALL 4.

Just showed Kimberly the top photos of the hail and she said,
"See, I told you it was some big-a** hail!"
"I thought it was the size of racquetballs,
the roof of the the car was coming down when it would hit"

We got hammered with hail for 10 minutes or so. Mostly nickel sized

You know how machine gun fire sounds when ripping though the vegetation in movies?



It was kind of like that.

Leaves and ice everywhere with a combination of slicing sounds and impact sounds.

A friend sent me a text that she was driving in it. Her windshield was smashed.

She said she was never that scared. I'm pretty sure I was the last thing on her mind when it happened.

She drives a Jaguar. I hope she sends me a pic. I don't think I have ever seen a Jag tore up like that.
