Fake news. That’s a California Redwood in the background.🤣🤣 Just kidding. You know I’m a believer. Hunted in Rosharon on the river for several years. It’s almost over at the beginning of bow season.

Cool. I practically grew up in Rosharon. Fished the river with my grandparents almost every week.
There is some good ones in areas along the Brazos. Ever kill any good ones?

Use to be an old taxidermist in Rosenberg that told me every year he’d mount a few 150s from the Thompson’s Bottom area along the river north of Rosharon

Yes. Probably Mr. Jimmy Sparks. He’s a friend of mine. Been there many years.

There was giant typical buck killed on the river, a few miles west of Rosenberg, that I personally put my hands on that was a tad over 180”. And it was a typical. There have been several in the 160’s killed off of that same ranch.

Ive got a few game cam pics of some really nice bucks from the Thompson’s area.

Yup, seen some big deer killed over the years near Booth/Thompsons. I grew up out in Pecan Bend from '91 to '04. We saw a nice buck every once in a while but nothing to get excited over. I was all over that subdivision. I think most nice deer got shot before they could become wall hangers. There were quite a few feeders in back yards.
