Reverse shoulder replacement?

My Dad had it done a few years back. First one went so well he had the other one done 6 months later. Did his rehab and was back on the golf course.

How long till he was back on the golf course?

I wanna say he was chippin' and puttin' on the practice green after 2 or 3 months and gradually added to it when OT told him it was ok. Pretty sure he was back to playing at about the 6 month mark. Might've been a bit longer. I believe with the reverse procedure, they're able to go between the muscles to do the procedure as opposed to cutting thru them so recovery is faster. Could be wrong but I'm not smart enough to dream that up so I'm pretty sure that's what we were told by the Doc.

Just had an appointment this week for my shoulder. Right shoulder rotator cuff ligament is non existent. My Orthopedic Surgeon that did my Hip Replacement said it’s last resort. Once you do it, there’s nothing else available right now. He said I’m way too active to have it done right now. Therapy and exercise is best right now. I get an injection twice a year.

Same thing the Dr. told me
have not had shots or therapy yet but dealing with the VA
