What would you buy? Vintage Car

Mainly want to see if I’m missing something good in my searches. Getting ideas on what’s out there and asking prices before spring car shows. Hoping this is the year I pick up an older car. My dream car, as basic as it is, is a C3 corvette. However, that’s out because I need 3 seats. It won’t get driven as much if there isn’t room for the wife and kiddo, nor do I want to exclude them. I’d just buy another Harley if that was the case. Backseat is a must, I’m open otherwise on year/make/model. Let’s call the budget $25k. Would love to spend less, could go a bit more. What would you buy?

I'd buy any Corvette that had chrome bumpers. 1953 - 1972

My main problem with this is that covers the year I graduated high school (2002) and it won’t be long before I could put antique plates on it. Oof.

i'm class of 2000. Vintage and classic are about the same thing IMO.

I would have a 68-73 C10 with more engine than engine bay. I had a '72 in high school with a little 350, but I swear it would go light speed.

Pretty much this. Cause Ive always wanted a 70-72 and my wife had one when we started dating. Other than that, Id like FJ40. Resto-Mod either way

Fire breathing, ground pounding excitement......at Sonic on a friday night. I can smell the corn dogs now. As much as I enjoy my 72, looking back it was a POS. BUT it was my POS. But wouldn't want it back.

I don’t disagree but that’s triple the ol budget.

In a perfect world Id be able to get my wifes back. Her dad bought it new off the lot in 1972. Long bed, power steering and AC. Granted it was also POS when we dated the AC was gone and the power steering leaked like the Valdez but it would be a one owner truck

If $$$$ was no object, a 69 COPO Camaro w/ the L88 engine.

Keep your eye open for the next Mecum or Barrett Jackson auctions...entry level Chevelle would hit your budget & get you the room needed.

There are actually lots of choices that fit your needs.
