CPAP is a game changer. Saved my life. Feel like a new person. About 1 year into it....

This is what I use and talk about sleeping good and hard. My wife doesnt have to hit me anymore and she can tell when I spit it out at night! I sometimes wake up after a couple hours and am ready to get my day started.

Another vote for a CPAP machine. Been using one for about 5 years now. Game changer in how I feel in the morning. Took me about 3 weeks to get used to it, but now I love it.

Bought the zquiet for my pregnant wife after reading this (with her permission and willingness to try). I haven't slept in two months and its affecting my day-to-day.

My wife just asked me when I was going to get this one set up. Once I get it right and use it, I'll come back for the update.

The snorerx is only a few months old, and has broke. I've emailed the company to see if they are going to make it right. They replied and wanted a picture, but I've not heard back since sending the pictures.

AND do not forget, men snore, but so do women. I snore some, but my wife will scare you to death at times during the night. She has been through all the tests, but nothing to suggest why, she just snores!

I went with the Zquiet mouth guard. It’s been a couple months now and my wife said it has stopped virtually all my snoring, except when I’m REALLY tired. And those times seem to coincide with deer lease weekends. In my case the main goal was to stop the snoring, for her benefit. And it works great for that. However, I still wake up a thousand times during the night (always have) and wake up tired in the mornings. Seems I’ve always been that way. But at least momma is happy!

Been using CPAP for better than 10 years. Started out with the full face mask, but didn't work for me. I sleep on my side, so every time I ended up on my side during the night it would break the seal on my face and the roaring of the air would wake me up. Quit using it for a long time until my doctor told me about the nasal pillows, similar to what is pictured above. The supply hose comes in on top and the pliable hoses that come down on each side of my face to the pillows work great- doesn't matter which side I sleep on, if one side gets pinched closed the other side carries the air supply. Can't sleep without it now and the wife doesn't lay awake at night hearing me stop breathing and worried that it won't start back.

I went to Texas Sinus and Snoring it was a long process but much better now. 1st fixed my deviated septum, 2nd installed permanent splints in my nose (think permanent breath right strips) last was tonsillectomy and cut out the back of my throat. Snoring is gone but **** it was a long road.

You have a fat neck, and your airway is collapsing.

                          I’d bet money on it.

i did the study, got the machines, and not only do we both sleep better, but I also lost about 15 pounds because wasn’t constantly snacking during the day trying to stay awake.

it’s not exaggerating to say that apnea damages your heart.

all the whining about having to sleep with the machines is minor in comparison to the alternative

Going carnivore ended my snoring. I went from 200 pounds down to 185 (what I weighed when I was 20), and I stopped snoring. I wasn't fat before, but losing the last little bit of fat around my neck/chin stopped the snoring I guess.

Where did you have the study done? I have been looking for a place to go to, but there isn't anything here in Abilene with over 3 stars.

Cpap takes time to get it right. I have been on it over a year and it took me a few weeks to get used to it. Then once I got used to it I found I needed a different mask. Now I am sleeping better than ever.
