Leaving for the rifle hunt next Sunday!! Did anyone get to hunt there this year? We are staying in the bunkhouse. Just trying to figure out what I need to bring so I dont forget something since it is a long way to town. Any help would be appreciated.

I hunted there last year. It gets very cold at night. I stayed in a tent, but I wished I had stayed in the bunkhouse. Dress in layers for the hunt. It will be in the twenties when you leave out in the morning, but may warm to the fifties that afternoon. Wear your best, durable, comfortable boots. Lots of walking in some rough country. If you plan to bait, take some alfalfa. Good luck!

Never hunted but have visited. Bare bones. Cover your bases and be ready to keep yourself comfortable. Have fun.
