    Kuiu’s annual sale

For anybody looking for Kuiu gear, I received an email their big sale starts tomorrow Oct 25. Buy once, cry once. 5 years ago I bought a bunch of clothing and a pack, and I’ve been hunting with it every season.

    Started this morning

Gold and Platinum inner circle members had early access yesterday, think that is folks spending $500+ a year but not in that club so can't say

Check their website. I think it’s open to everybody tomorrow.

I have a pair of these and they’re remarkable. Worn under my lightweight Kuiu pants, I can stat warm i to the high 20s. With the side zipper, I wear early am and as temps increase, take them off without taking off my hunting boots.

I've never been a high end clothing guy, but since I am going to be hunting out west and Newfoundland I spent a ridiculous amount of money for Kuiu rain gear and a Guide Jacket. On the NL hunt it we spent days in the rain and I stayed completely and utterly dry and warm. I was pretty surprised at how well it worked. It spoiled me quick, my guide was soaked at least one of the days ( he actually mentioned it one evening and ran to his cabin to change as soon as we got back ).

The Guide jacket is not technically rain gear but worked perfectly and kept me warm despite being thin. It hugs your body so it doesnt get in the way or grab brush etc.

Buy once, cry once. Was worth every penny

x2. I have a guide vest that is lightweight and incredibly warm, I layer it with my other Kuiu clothing.

I found my lightweight go-to pants do not do well crossing barbed wire fences, but I repaired the holes with engine high-temp RTV. It sticks to anything and survives being washed well.

My son is incredibly hard on his hunting gear, over the years he's worn out Kuiu gear elk and mule deer hunting in Montana. Every time, Kuiu sent him a replacement garment or piece for his pack- or the newer item that replaced it.

There is no better hunting/fishing outdoor gear. It's worth the price.

I'd call them up and speak to customer service. Explain the situation, and say you could send the first one back and order it again- why not give me the sale price or give you credit on a few other sale items? I have their medium and large game bags and have used them multiuple times. They also just released an archery quiver I saw online.

Got me a new daypack, and finally gave in and bought a pair of attack pants. I wear a size 36 jeans, but went with 38 because everything I read said go size bigger for Kuiu. I have a bunch of their wool and a peloton pull over that I purchased years ago. I always told myself I was waiting to buy more when I lost weight. Yeah well that seems to not be happening, so I will get some new kuiu when I shed more pounds
