Well, I wound up changing plans on hulu to get what I wanted and still saved money. Direct TV is on the way out, they just don’t know it yet.

I use a 3rd party app that I pay $25 bucks a month for. Has 5 connections and a phone app. Gets every available channel in multiple countries. Includes the PPV and all sports.

My better half is from NM and I have close Family outside of OKC and Columbus, Ohio. I have their local channels available just for fun. I check out their news and local sports that include some of the hometown commercials.

I've been cordless for a LONG time, and have had this provider for about 3 years. Can't beat $25/month for everything. Includes tv shows and movies as well as live tv.
What's the app you are using?

I am in the same boat. I tried to switch from Directv dish to directv streaming. After about 2 hours on the phone I got nowhere. I ended up calling back and just cancelling. They said it was $80 to do Choice streaming. When I tried to sign up it ended up being $115. So no I am looking for something different. Right now I am looking at Sling and Hulu. We had 5000 channels on directv and watched 3 of them. Unfortunately it is hard to find those 3 in one package. I do like to watch the local news even though they lie to me.

Most local news channels stream their broadcast through their own app. You usually don’t need a streaming subscription to watch them.

Sounds like the same type service we have. Not a subscription, but a donation for access to their servers thru their app.

We have Hulu+Live TV. We have one Roku TV in the living room, a Fire stick on a TV in the shop, and a Fire Stick on a TV in the camper. Works great for us. I think we pay $85.00 a month. Started out several years ago at $55.00 a month.

That’s what we wound up doing Mike, minus the Firesticks. The two little tvs are Amazon. Pretty satisfied, only gripe is the buttons you have to punch to get there. First world problem for sure !

We put a digital antenna at deer camp and I was surprised at all the free channels including some local channels (NBC, CBS, and Fox... no ABC) out of Tyler or Longview.

Same here. We put up a digital antenna at the ranch am not at all disappointed at the breadth of choices have. Not all rooms get all channels, but it all seems to work out okay.

Yep, that would require getting off of the couch. I watch old crap in the morning making breakfast and have it on at night catching upon TBH as background noise. I can't imagine needing more, I have too much to do.
