I know everyone probably has a preference based on sports or favorite programs, but what I’m trying to do is buy once, cry once. I pared Direct TV down to a little over $40 per month a year or more ago by cutting out all the crap I wasn’t interested in. They are now back up to $126 per month, the thieving bastages. I wasn’t aware of that until this morning, my wife pays the bill. I have Hulu, the cheapest package, so I’m thinking maybe just get add-ons. Fox News and local channels are about the only reasons I kept Direct. I need zero sports so there’s that. Fox and local channels are a must. I have three smart tvs, (although the two little ones from Amazon don’t seem as smart as the Samsung in the living room). Tell me what you think !

I agree, but you need to have good internet. If you had to pay for Starlink & then a streaming service, does it get you anywhere? It will probably cost more money. We can’t get good internet where I live without using starlink.

We have Xfinity internet bundled with 2 phones and then we have a 3rd party streaming service. WAY CHEAPER with more viewing options. Its an app loaded onto a firestick or a smart TV. Its 95% reliable, with 3% of our issues being device driven. 2% of the issues will fall into the providers lap. Server issues are the main one. Firestick works, but can bog on Live Tv. Need more RAM and internal storage. Firestick cache needs to be cleared to free up some space or delete some erroneous apps that FS drops in from time to time. I'm looking into Nvidia for streaming device options. It took us a while to get used to the app but its great.
Cutting the cord gets rid of a lot of issues regarding paying for channels, but also creates a few issues as well. But we are 3 years cordless and wouldn't imagine going back.

Yeah, we tv poor, but each has its use. Bedroom tv is for local channels’ weather. Kitchen tv is to get indigestion from watching Biden/Harris lie during dinner. Those two ain’t on much, but the living room one s for watching 10/15 year old tv series ‘cause this crap they put out now is horrible. 😳😬😁

My better half is from NM and I have close Family outside of OKC and Columbus, Ohio. I have their local channels available just for fun. I check out their news and local sports that include some of the hometown commercials.
I've been cordless for a LONG time, and have had this provider for about 3 years. Can't beat $25/month for everything. Includes tv shows and movies as well as live tv.
