Great thread to request a sticky. DON'T POST LINKS THAT REQUIRE A SUBSCRIPTION, LOGIN AND PASSWORD.

Have you tried actually clicking on the link?

The link works for me on an iPhone, android, and a windows laptop and I don’t have a sub to the Chron either.

Required a sign-in or subscription on my desktop. I only got to read the headline before the box popped up. I knew this was coming anyway. Stupid decision by TP&W board. They go from a 20 bird per day one year to passing a no limit per day last season, to taking it away the next year! TP&W board just doesn't make much sense when making decisions about management practices. Just like the mandatory 24 hour turkey kill reporting/harvest kill reporting coming next year via app and mobile device. Just like the gar fish. One per day and has to be reported within 24 hours.

Yes if you have never visited the site in the last 30 days they allow a free viewing. They allow like a few free per month.

It's comical they think this will bring the geese numbers back to Texas. Texas prairies have turned into suburbia and those geese have it too good in Arkansas. Those numbers will never be even close to what they used to be.

I can remember driving Hwy 6 in Sugar land and seeing geese all the way down 90. Stopping in East Barnard at Vynceks and seeing geese in people’s front yard. Those were the days

I use to goose hunt at IH-10 and Fry road where Home Depot sits now. We had days where we saw not just thousands but 10s of thousands of birds.

I-10 used to be covered in geese. It was a sight seeing all of them come in. Those days are long gone now.

Geese can’t feed in concrete. Those days are gone.
