I was hoping they would have gotten rid of him in the off season. He sucked in the world series and just carried it into this season. Ugly win yesterday, but I`ll take it.

There was some skepticism regarding Josh Smith when he took over from Jung - including from me - but he has been the Rangers MVP for the first half.

5 back at the break! We can make that up in 2 weeks and does anyone believe in the Mariners? Really, we are 1 back where it counts.
Sherzer looks great, Dunning about ready, Mahle looks great in rehab starts, deGrom throwing bullpen sessions and the bullpen looks good. The offense is finding its rhythm again and Jung will be back eventually (not sure his loss has been felt so much b/c of Smith).
I like where this team is headed with an acquisition or two by CY at the deadline.

The Little Rangers start the figurative second half of the season w/ a resounding thud. No bueno.

They've got to win a bunch of series to get into the playoff hunt. Hopefully they can salvage Saturday and Sunday. We'll see.

Side note: I'm really ready to A. Garcia to get some footgear and accessories that match the rest of the team. I know it's old man yelling at clouds of me. But i do think there is some merit to a team looking like a team.
