Man y’all suck. Seriously though, what happened to your offense? Basically same as last year when y’all scored a ton of runs. Surely Jung doesn’t make that much difference

I think Jung does make that big a difference. No Evan Carter (even though he was struggling), everyone on the team (except J. Smith) performing well below last season, etc. The nights they pitch well, they don't hit. LeClerc looking at bugs in the lights half the time, Latz - well Latzing it up. Bad luck, possibly poor strength and conditioning coaching, blah, blah, blah. Maybe reading too many press clippings. Pretty toxic mix so far...

Jung isn't going to save this team. The offense is abysmal....The whole team is going to have to turn their bats around. Not to mention Jung will be on the IL again before the end of the season.

This team has a bad habit of when the pitching is good the offense sucks. When the offense trips on it d*** and accidentally scores some runs, the pitching s***s the bed. Its a bad team effort all the way around. Pathetic...

....aaand there it is. A really good pitching effort (even by my nemesis J. LeClerc), wasted by an anemic offense. Ugh.

I think the reality is that last year was premature lightening in a bottle for this bunch…the exception for many of them, rather than the rule. Taveras, Duran, Lowe, Garcia…are not the guys they showed early last season. We forget that most of the end of last season was mediocre ball, aside from the playoffs.

I think we’re two weeks from selling short timers to re rack for ‘25. I’m not even mad…
