The run production this year has been awful. Overall the pitching and bullpen, despite the injuries, has been pretty decent for the most part. Through 71 games the rangers have scored 3 runs or less in 36 of them. That’s insane considering what this mostly unchanged lineup did last year. Plenty of injuries, but there were plenty last year. if you take away the 9th inning rally that came up short the other night, the rangers have scored 8 runs in 6 games.

Seattle pitching is clearly dominant....especially against a weak *** hitting lineup like the Rangers are sporting. Adolis especially is pathetic .....garbage right now.

It’s past time for someone new in CF. Taveras can’t hit his way out of a paper sack and Garcia should not be in the 3 or 4 hole anymore. He is tardy on every fastball he sees. Goes back to the hitting coach IMO.

Preach! That's the weakest position on the field, currently. I can't remember the last legit CF the Rangers had... I think they thought Carter would take it over, but his bat is just not there yet.

I thought Carter would be the guy too and I agree his bat is just not there. I like a guy that will see pitches but he takes way too many right down the middle. Teams have figured that out and aren’t scared to go at him.

Jung had a rehab start yesterday and went 2 for 3 so he should be back soon. Maybe he can really give this offense the boost they need
