Went to the ballpark today and liked what I saw (with the exception of Latz, who just does not have it yet).


Both of these WS teams have struggled this season with a very similar record so far.


However in recent days the Rangers seem to be getting back to winning baseball games, while the D'backs really look lethargic.

It also proved again that small ball doesn't win consistently in MLB anymore.

Another nice shutout win! Pitching has been great and hitting has also been good throughout the lineup. Some good news on the injuries as well,Sherzer and Mahle could face live hitters tomorrow and Jon Gray possibly coming back late this week. Was a tough stretch there for a while but feels like this may be a turning point for the champs.

Solid game today. Good to see the bats produce and Heaney pitch a quality game. Always good to take 2 out of 3 and win the series.

Astros lost so that's a bonus in the standings.
