I thought the rotation was in bad shape last year, but this is insane
I can understand the 15-1 deal throwing the bottom of your barrel relievers so not to burn them up for this double header. 15-1 or 15-8 no big deal. A w is a w. I wouldn't call that waving the white flag. Urena was all that was available with this injury bug right? Heaney and Gray will be on what 3-4 days rest before this one is over?

I think they waved it late in today's early game when Lorenzen was throwing BP every time we got the lead knowing we couldn't hit their closer for **** hoping to save guys to steal this last one and go 3-1

Today is Lieter. The injury bug put them there again. They are ahead still so the white flag is still in its case.

Winn in to pitch means wave the white flag.
No matter what he does from here on out it’ll never change the fact that the rangers don’t win the World Series last year without him.

Robinson and the offense aren't waving the white flag...

Okay, didn’t waive the white flag, they’re completely screwed. If they pull this one off tonight it’ll be fantastic to have taken 2 of those 3.

Hallelujah. Our offense is going to have to win some of these 15-8, 10-6 games over the next couple of months. Robertson and Kirby have been the saving grace this season, and somehow Leclerc now that he’s not the closer.

4 runs up may not be enough with le Clerc as closer. We will see. Oops I thought it was 9th inning

He hasn’t been the closer for almost a month. He also hasn’t given up a run in almost a month, although that’s about to change, if it hasn’t while i type this.

He put it back in his pocket.

Since blowing a save and giving up 2 runs on April 9th, LeClerc has pitched 10 innings over 9 appearances, and this is the first run he’s given up. He’s only allowed 5 hits over that span. Every appearance but one was in a tight game, so he’s been pitching in pressure spots. He’s walked too many, 6 in 10 innings, but if he does this until the middle of the year he’s an allstar reliever. I don’t trust him any more than y’all do, but he’s been a really big part of the rangers staying alive through all of the injuries and offensive struggles.

Not a fan of putting white in there. He might be back to the minors after this
