2024 Workout Accountability Thread!

    We had Hannah’s graduation on Friday. I didn’t get any workouts in Friday or Saturday. I started the new week with a one hour run this morning.

        Very much a "going through the motions" workout today. I still have a bit of tightness in my glute so I focused on a couple of lifts (with lighter weights) that would stretch it out a little.

        - Seated DB Good Mornings (not really sure what they're called)
        - ring pull-ups
        - RDLs
        - barbell rows
        - bench press

          I'm down 12 since nanza...it's going slow but in the right direction. Diet, walking & a little prison.

            Finally getting back in the swing of things. It’s been a couple of weeks since I hurt a hamstring so I decide to take some time away from the gym. I have felt like poo poo since I stopped working out.. great to be back.

            chest, shoulders and triceps on Saturday
            took day off Sunday as I had zero energy
            back, arms, and traps done earlier today; did a few sets of extremely light weights on legs just to get the legs back into a bit of activity

                  Chest and triceps done today… did a little work on legs with minimal weight… hoping the hamstring is already in recovery mode and will slowly increase the work load on legs within the next two weeks

                    I've done a bike trainer workout each night last week and again tonight. I'm taking Monday's and Friday's off to let my legs recover.

                      On vacation, if you can call it that, this week. Contractor is remodeling the master bath so I'm hanging around to make sure he gets it done. Still going to the gym early in the AM. Rest day today so I'm heading to the range with my wife to shoot some pistolas with my 85 year old father and then may hit some golf balls this afternoon.

                        today was shoulders

                        Push for a big cut between last Sunday and Memorial Day for my yearly (this is only the second year….) Murph. Hopefully I don’t tare my brachealis and bicep again this year… lol

                              I had blood drawn this morning for a host of lab tests. I ate just a little bit for lunch and then went to the track for a sprint workout.

                              I walked to each starting point between sets to bring HR down.

                                Chest and triceps Friday
                                traps and arms Saturday; threw in a very light set of leg curlers and the hammy felt good
                                rest day today…
                                Back and shoulders along with some leg work on the schedule for tomorrow; hope everyone have a good weekend and will be hitting hard Monday
